About Page

Hello, I'm Sakai from Scale Model Choppers.
Ever since I was a child, I've loved building Gundam plastic models,
and before I knew it, I had grown up alongside models.
In high school, I encountered motorcycles for the first time.
The moment I saw them, I fell in love and became obsessed,
and I started building motorcycle plastic models too.
I was particularly drawn to chopper-style custom bikes,
and I built many of them as a hobby.
When I posted them on social media,
I started receiving requests like, "I want you to build my bike too."
Building someone's motorcycle.
It was a job of giving shape to that person's "feelings."
In my 30s,
I decided, "I want to make this my profession."
With the introduction of 3D printers, my production capabilities expanded,
and I finally challenged myself to create engine models.

【Why Engine Models?】
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Looking at commercially available vintage V-Twin engine models,
I always thought:
"I can make them more realistic."
The texture of the casting,
the oil seepage,
the heat discoloration of the metal――
I wanted to reproduce even the "soul"
that a real engine possesses.
With that in mind, through repeated trial and error,
I arrived at my current style.

【Commitment to Custom Orders】
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Currently, I produce engine models
with the same specifications as the customer's beloved vehicle.
"I want to keep the engine of my deceased father's motorcycle close by."
"I want even the oil leak marks on my Shovelhead to be reproduced."
While empathizing with such feelings,
I meticulously create each piece.
When I hand over the finished product,
and see the customer's感动 face,
"I'm glad I do this job."
I truly feel that way.
Please let me give form to the engine of your beloved vehicle as well.
I look forward to your inquiries.
