1966–1969 Early Shovelhead Engine
Precisely Recreated in 1/6 Scale
The bridge between Panhead and Shovel — early heads, generator-era soul.
When the Shovelhead arrived in 1966, Harley kept the proven Panhead bottom end and capped it with new aluminum "shovel" heads — named for their upside-down-shovel shape. The result ran cooler and made more power. These earliest 1966–1969 units are the bridge between two eras, and collectors prize them for it. This 1/6-scale piece is built and aged by a single craftsman in Osaka, Japan.
