The last of the classic Harley engines — before everything changed.
The Shovelhead ran from 1966 to 1984: eighteen years of evolution from the early generator Shovels to the final alternator models, named for rocker covers shaped like upturned shovels. Bolt on an S&S Super E carburetor and it breathes deep and pulls hard — a custom-scene favourite. This 1/6-scale piece is built and aged by a single craftsman in Osaka, Japan.
