Successor to the Evolution — the twin-cam foundation of the modern V-Twin
Introduced in 1999 as the successor to the Evolution, the Twin Cam 88 is a new-generation V-Twin named for its two camshafts. Displacement grew to 88ci (1,450cc), and together with a stiffer crankcase it laid the foundation of the modern big twin. This model recreates the Keihin CV carburetor specification — one culmination of the V-Twin lineage that began with the Knucklehead.
